From ancient Rome to the Vatican City, from Assisi and the legend of Saint Francis to the delicious Tuscan countryside with its rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves, medieval hamlets and abbeys. Dream cities like Siena, Pisa, Lucca and smaller but not lesser wall towns will frame the visit to Florence, world capital of medieval and renaissance art. This is the land of Dante Alighieri, Giotto, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and many other personages, poets, sculptors, philosophers and musicians. Travelling northward we will see Mantua, astounding city on water birthplace of Virgilio  and Mantegna, Verona with  its stunning Arena, dear to  Shakespeare who set some of his works here including Romeo and Juliet. And to Vicenza with its many villas of Palladio, and Venice, architectural urban masterpiece of refined marble on water, developed by its ancient inhabitants on around 50 islands, channels, bridges and squares, with palaces, basilica and museums which house the works of its greatest masters such Giorgione,  Tintoretto, Canaletto.
